MAIN INSTRUMENTS PANEL

The Main Instruments Panel (MIP) hold a mixture of old round gauge as Airspeed, Altimeter etc.. and new EFIS display as EADI/EHSI very fascinating for 767 lovers..;-). So I did decided to get a real MIP from a old 757/767 in disuse of course and I bought this MIP stripped from a 757-23A of "Federal Express" Reg. N293AW / SELCAL CH-FL as reported on top MIP. Here is possible see the our N293AW history ..wow it's only old 22,5 years ago!! ...and the pics can look the bad state of two centrals parts while the side parts left and right, was luckily new brand.

For restoration I've stripped all wires and connectors then I've use many thinner to remove the last repaint layer and soak sandpaper for old original paint layer; this has come out the primer (green) layer. Then two hands of new primer filler, three hands of brown and two hands clear matt to come back at new life!! Now is ready to set on main structure and hold the gauges.  More pics during progress...
