KORRY 389
Here I show my first home made switch; this is a Korry389 used on Radio/NAV and MCP panels. These switches (product from Korry) are difficult to find and buy one it's too much expensive...:-(
So I've decide to build a prototype to get a moulds in silicon rubber; this process, often used from other cockpit builders, allow produce quickly several replica using bicomponent resin.
The model respect the real size "square 16,3x16,3mm" with double LED chamber (one for "label" and one for "status indicator").
The switch come with a little PCB (made myself) that contain the two LED, the push button and a header (5 pins) for a easy connection. The result achieve seem gave a good final look.
